Hi,
I deployed an MDB in WAS, and define a MessageListenerPort to listen MQ Queue in AIX MQ Server. It works. But I found sometimes the Listener could not be triggerred when I put messages into the Queue.
Can anybody help ?
Thanks.

You should have probably posted this in the Java/JMS section. As far as why it doesn't work, are you doing anything with selectors? What version of WMQ are you using (issue mqver)?

Also, is something else listening on that queue?

Issue qstatus on that queue to find out.

I issuse "mqver", it returns:
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 530.4 CSD04
CMVC level: p530-04-030617
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)

And, I didn't config any selector, when MDB cann't get any messages, I restart WAS, the MDB could get messege again-- no messeges were lost.

Depending on WebSphere Application Server version in company with WMQ you need to be careful. Some of the combinations have the MDB dying and the only way we could get them going again was to bounce the WAS.

Get up to WMQ 5.3.06 or higher and upgrade your WAS version accordingly.

Enjoy

You might want to move to CSD09

Enjoy
