I have been working with mq from almost a year now and i woudn't call myself an expert. I have a task now to setup omegamon XE in our environment where we have 10-15 queue managers, few in staging and few going to be in production soon. I am reading the documentation that came with the product to set it up, do you think its not a hard task to set it up?? what might be the precautions that i need to take?? common problems that i might face?? please giude me whether with my experience is it worth trying myself to set it up. Your suggestions will be appreciated.
It is always a good thing to get the vendor's help for the first time setup.
You do not need to deploy right away to all queue managers but you should have gone through the documentation and your scenarii.
Ask the vendor's help in setting up your most difficult scenarii.

You definitely want to get IBM/CANDLE's help in installing this product. It uses its own installation facility called CICAT, and it is not very intuitive. _________________ Glen Shubert
