Hi,

We're looking at configuring the bundled DCE channel security exit on AIX MQ servers for MQI channels (client to server). The clients are on Win2K/WinXP and no MQ servers are installed on the client PCs.

We already have a DCE cell up and running.

I'd like to know what needs to be done to configure this setup.

Also, is the client-side security exit is bundled in the Windows client ? if not, where do I get it ?

I just want to add that we configured the supplied RACF security exit on our MQ servers 5.3.1 running on z/OS. However, the MQ clients (non-java) cannont access the secured channels. Is there something that can permit non-java clients to access those channels ?

a) The DCE version of MQ is a different MQ version. If you do not have the DCE version installed it won't help you.

b) Read the intercommunication manual. You should find your answer in there or be able to ask a more specific question.
