we have MQ V5.3 client on Solaris 5.9. as we know,we need set MQServer=channel/tcp/IP(port). if I set correct IP and port, amqsputc is workable. but if i set incorrect IP or Port, the program will exit exceptionally during running into MQConnect or MQConnectx,no comp and reason code return. one coredump file is generated.

Is it not reasonable to expect that if you want to connect to an MQManager that you would do something like set the correct variables?
Then after having done so, one would continue to do so?

Hi,
i think he expect a reason code 2059 not a core dump.
Which MQ 5.3 Client CSD are you running ?

| Correct,Frank. but customer has been tried CSD07,08,09， same result. no reason code . |
