Hi
A very confusing problem.
Sometimes, at some specific database calls to an Oracle DB from ESQL code (Compute Node) the Flow Debugger is stuck. I can trace to the very db-call inside the node, but then nothing happens. When I run the flow, outside the debugger, the message is rolled back and it's very difficult to trace why this happens.
Other nodes in the flow acces the Oracle db without problems.
Anyone recognising this ?
I'm running WBIMB 5.0, CSDE 02. Win20000. |

Are you handling your own database errors?
If not, un-check the Compute node property Throw exception on database error, and add ESQL code immediately following the SQL call to interrogate the SQLCODE/SQLNATIVEERROR values. |

If all else fails, you could try the various traces available:- Set a user trace (debug) on the message flow level
- Set an odbc trace. 'TRACE=1' in the ODBC stanza of the .odbc.ini file.
