A global manufacturer, located in northern NJ, is currently seeking a Sr. MQ Series Administrator with a minimum of 3-5 years experience. This is a contract opportunity with an open duration.
The following experience/skills are required for this exciting position:
MQ administration and configuration
MQ development/application architecture support
MQ security
MQ 5.3 extensions
MQ clustering
MQ pub/sub
Unix competence
shell scripting and/or Perl
MQ for z/OS
CICS adapter for MQ
General knowledge/experience with CICS
Backup/recovery
Pageset maintenance
MQ API: COBOL, C
JMS messaging
JMS administration
Java classes for MQ
AMI a plus
Experience logging problem tickets with IBM
Good communication skills
Windows NT/Unix/Mainframe

The rate is open/market. The duration is open, too. We have 23+ consultants working on-site for this Client and we have been doing business with this Client for 8+ years. Typically the contracts are written in increments of 6 months and extend out for years, assuming both parties want to. |
