Hello All,

What we need to know in JMS related to MQ adminsitration.
I am applying jobs lately for a MQ admin positions and everybody is asking do you know JMS.
I do not have much idea except that it stands as "Java Messaging service".

Can anybody tell me what I need to know in JMS from a MQ admin point of view.

There's information in both the Java and the System Administration manuals.

For generalised JMS information, Mr Google is probably the best place to start.

Simplisticly JMS is the Java standard for messaging. When WMQ is used as a JMS provider there's a need to map JMS definitions onto WMQ objects.
