are there any limitations in defining number of Queues in a system? and at the same time in QMGRS ? will they depend on system RAM?

You should be fine for thousands of queues on any modern system.

The biggest factor affecting number of qmgrs on one system is channels and disk space.

But you should still be able to put at least 10 qmgrs on any modern system.

The largest limit you'll run into is management and monitoring of lots of queues, qmgrs, and channels.
