Hello,

I have installed WMQ 7.0.1 on Ubuntu Karmic Koala 32-bit (9.10).

The installation seems to have been ok but when trying to run MQ Explorer I get:
Code:
integration@integration-desktop:~$ sudo /opt/mqm/bin/strmqcfg
[sudo] password for integration:
Segmentation fault

Kernel 2.6.31-15-generic is used.

Do you have any idea?

Yes. Look HERE and draw your own conclusions...

Ok, so my conclusion is that my working Ubuntu 9.04 with WMQ 7.0.1 is not really working since it's an unsupported platform... or it's rather you telling me that it's not working

It may well be working quite happily, as it is for me on another unsupported Linux platform (for test purposes), but I can't get MQExplorer to run on it

As you're on an unsupported platform, have you tried just launching Eclipse and then opening the MQ Explorer perspective ? To launch eclipse

Quote:
/opt/mqm/eclipseSDK33/eclipse/eclipse

to open perspective

Quote:
Window -> Open perspective -> Other -> MQ Explorer

If this does work, then it's probably a problem with the strmqcfg command - either way, you're still unsupported - and you wont see any local queue managers without a bit more tweeking
