Hi,

In the past week I have come across a couple of problems with my MQ manager -

1. The QM uses linear logging. When the QM moved from one cluster to the other, there were several logs - about 20+ logs thrown up at the same time. Is this becuase the application sitting on top of MQ was tring to write to queues when the QM was shutting down?

2. The second question is about the MQ clients. I read a few postings on this forum on the clients losing messages... but the big question is apart from Network failure, is it really possible for clients to lose messages. the messages are not written in Syncpoint.

Please share if anybody come accross situations were this can happen.

Thanks...
