- I'm using WMQI 2.1 CSD 07 on Windows 2000.
- I'm using DB2 v8.1.0.36

[i]Machine A
-I have two DB's which i've created using a UserID mqsiud MQSIMRDB and MQSIMRDB (MsgRepositoryDB an ConfigManagerDB respectively)
-I created the Config Manager on this machine using mqsiuid.
-All the CM and MR tables in DB2 is under the MQSIUID schema
-Life is good on this machine

[ii]Machine B
-I'm trying to recreate the MsgRepositoryDB and ConfigManagerDB on the 2nd machine
-On this machine I don't have a mqsiuid and I would ideally not want to create one.
-I've created a user id wmqi and it's in all the required groups.
-I do the following (using wmqi user ID):
-1. Create 2 new DB's MQSIMRDB and MQSIMRDB
-2. Restore the MQSIMRDB and MQSIMRDB backups from machine A to these existing databases on Machine B
-3. Create a Config Manager using wmqi userid
-4. I end up with two sets of tables - One under WMQI schema and one under MQSIUID schema.
-5. When I open the Control Center I can't see any Messages Flows or Message Sets

- What do I need to do to see the Msg Flows and Sets without having to create a MQSIUID on machine B. (If I do create a MQSIUID and do the DB restores and CM create using MQSIUID, then I can see all the Msg Flows and MsgSets)

Thanks in advance.

You need to change the Schema of the restored objects.

How to do this is strictly a DB2 question, and I personally don't know the answer.

Ask your DBA.

Thx for the info. I'm stuffed since you cannot rename the Schema.

Anyway, I guess i'll have to export all the message flows and message sets from Machine A and import it on Machine B.

I'm not sure what DB2 Cube administration commands have to do with which schema that tables are defined in.

Your export/import backup/recovery process should give you some control over which SCHEMA the tables belong to, I would think?

But I'm not a DBA.
