Hi All,

I'm looking for any recommendations or past experience with wrapping the MQ Workflow 3.5's APIs in .NET.

Workflow's APIs support a number of languages, C, C++, Java, etc. Apart from Java API being portable is there any other advantages of using Java?
Will the C-languages be faster than Java? Also, when it comes to wrapping the APIs in .NET does anyone know which language APIs is the least programming intensive eg C, C++ or Java APIs?

Thanks

Is there an available C# .Net interface to the MQWF APIs? Is there any development being done to fill this gap? When can it be expected?

It isn't too difficult to create wrappers around the C or C++ interfaces, however, I would prefer an API set which is supported as part of the product.

I'd appreciate any information regarding this.

Thanks,
David.

David,

don't wait for a C# API, it will not be developed; just use a wrapper.
To put it this way: you can use MQWF in a .NET world as well as in a J2EE world but you have to do 'fine tuning'

Are the COM classes still around?

You could call these as unmanaged code from .net
