I installed from the MQ Series cd on my workstation (Windows XP).
It seems that I can now only create queue managers and channels (and listeners), but no queues.
Did I perhaps misinstall this? |

How are you creating the queues, i.e. RUNMQSC, MQSeries Explorer console? |

Well, I don't think it's like 2+2. It's not that I'm asking how to create queues via the command line (maybe that's the misunderstanding). I'm lost trying to find where to do this in the MQ Series plug-in. Maybe that's what I didn't say. I know the command-lines, but while the MMC provides a number of management features, this doesn't seem to be one of them. No menus for it or anything. |

So you have been looking at the MQServices 'window' that's where you create qmgrs, listeners and such.
You need to open the MQ Explorer MMC 'window', should be one of the shortcuts MQ creates, or look for the WebSphere MQ.msc file. _________________ Michael

Go to the Queues folder, right-click and choose which type. |
