Senior Software Engineer
(could be Principal Software Engineer, depending on candidate)

This is an opportunity for the right candidate to be involved with product development in the very center of one of the most profound shifts in messaging and networking. The ideal candidate will have a combination of MOM (especially IBM MQ) expertise and solid low-level C/C++ programming skills.
If you have stared at packet dumps to figure out why you can't connect to a queue manager, if you know what MQ datagrams or CID are, and if you want to make MOM fulfill its once shining promise -- by working on a product that drastically improves its performance, deployability and security -- this is the opportunity for you.

Must:
* excellent C/C++ skills
* developed software in C/C++ using MOM library APIs
* understanding of both MOM architecture / principles and use cases
* expertise in reliable messaging
* some experience developing with IBM MQ series libraries

Highly desirable:
* extensive MQ series experience
* java skills
* JMS experience
* familiarity with MQ wire protocol
* Tibco RV experience
* some experience with a startup or product environment
* deployment experience with pub-sub, preferably in a trading
or other financial services environment
* some knowledge of web services, XML, SOAP and/or WSRM
