MQ trigger is triggering an Siebel application. But it gives an ssc error and goes to an error queue. It was running before but suddenly it has stopped working after a reboot of the prod server. Can anyone have any idea ? What could be the problem ? _________________ WMQ and WMQI specialist

Check the rules for triggering in the APG. If I had to guess, I would say that the queue is set up to trigger on FIRST, and there is at least one msg on the queue. |

Hi
All the definition of MQ trigger is okay. The trigggering mechanism is working fine. It is able to trigger the application. The application runs fine as stand alone. But when it gets triggered from the MQ Series the application does not update Siebel database and the application sends the message to an error queue.
So I feel it might be an authorization issue. Any idea ?
Thanks

Does Siebel log anything that you can look at.

The problem is solved. We had to remove the MS03-011 patch which caused the problem to the existing running application.
Thanks a lot for all your help. _________________ WMQ and WMQI specialist
