How does the topic based security work? I create an ACL in the Config DB that a user say TSTUSER, has pub/sub access on a topic say STOCK.

Should the user be created on the Config box , broker and user name server.
Who initiates the access check ... I beleive the broker?? UNS validates the access rights by contacting the Config Mgr so ....should the group be created on UNS box too??

I believe the UNS authenticates users against the security context that it is configured for, regardless of what security context the configuration manager is configured for.

so u say that the user need NOT be defined on the config box.
Only on the UNS ......?? What about the broker box??
