Hi all,
I have an application which is working with normal JMS setup on WAS which offcource involves all the connection factories, queue connection factories, queues and connected through service integration bus. Now next step for me is that i want my application to use all this setup but use queues on remote MQ Server.
I have Q Maneger with two queues and channel and listening on port 1414. Is there any instrauction present on this forum to connect my WAS server queues to this MQ server queues with minimal change in setup.
Thanks  |

No program change but you will have to change the JNDI setup.
Remember JNDI names for destinations and factories should be unique at server level. You then may need to remap the EAR deployment descriptor for JMS resources to what you set up for MQ.
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Actually i want to map my Local Application server queues to MQ Server queues using Buses.
Currently my setup is as follows
Application.war --> INQ <-- MDB --> Server --> OUTQ --> MDB --> Application
I hope you understand above setup. Now both IN and OUT Q's are using Service Intergation Bus says 'Bus1' at Node level and setup is perfect.
Now what i want is to link IN and OUT Q's to my MQ Server IN and OUT Q.
For that I created a new Websphere MQ Server within WAS by prviding remote host and port number and create another service integration bus say 'Bus2' usign this new MQ Server and created two links which are mapped to remote queues. I have tested the connection and its say Successfull Connection.
Now Is there anyway i can map my Bus1 to Bus2???? |

Did you follow the doc where it tells you to setup MQ as a foreign JMS provider on the SIBUS. Did you set up the channels between the SIBUS and MQ?
You should have everything working now... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
