Hello,
I'm having problems with converting data between different platforms.
I recieve a message on the broker which is running on z/os390, the message has come from a unix platform and is destined for an as400.
Now, the requirment is to add a linefeed char at the end of the message.
I have set this to X'0A' as the message was created on the unix blox.
Now when the message is recieved on the as400, it is not recieved as a linefeed, are control characters ignored on conversion?
A get with convert is being performed.
I tried setting the linefeed char in the flow to X'25' which is the hex value for linefeed on the as400, but is a % sign on unix, and is therefore being converted to X'6C' on the as400 as this is a % sign.
Any ideas what I need to do, or am doing wrong?
Thanks

Is this still a problem?
Why don't you have your Broker output the format for AS/400 platform. You can do this by changing the CodedCharSetId and Encoding on the output message. _________________ Kiran
