We have four developers working with MQ for Linux and all can access the MQ stuff fine, except me! my username is pdrummond and I am part of the mqm group.
If I try to run the sample program amqsget I get 2035 as an error code. If I login as someone else, it works!!!
I have tried removing my account from the linux box altogether and starting from fresh but it doesn't work.
I have tried adding a new user "pauld" and it works!!!!!!
Why doesn't it like "pdrummond" !!!!
Can anyone help me with this strange problem? |

I think I remember something about there being an eight character limit on ID's, pdrummond has nine characters.

| It is usually nice to create profiles for the types fo common tasks that different roles play and then manage permissions at the group level. |

Where do you get the 2035 on connect to qmgr or connect to queue?
Is mqm your primairy group? (this should not make a difference, but have seen cases where it did matter...)
