Hello All,
Would anybody be able to put some light on an issue w.r.t a database update that occurs on a DB2 table.Apparently when I try to do a database update using ESQL, the system locks as in the table freezes and I cant do anything.
I know itis during updation because that is the only data manipulation that occurs in the ESQL.I tried a test insert and it works fine.
Is this anything todo with setting up buffer size for the table or anything in that order from a DB2 point of view or itis more of Message broker settings.
If itis DB2 may be I can ask my admin to look ito that aspect.
Please do share any thoughts on this.
Environment:WBIMB 5.3, DB2 7.2, WMQ 5.4
Thankyou,
Cheers, |

Just throwing in ideas..was wondering if there is
Option 1:An esql stmt that would override the transaction level to low...from what I understand there is only 2 levels Commit and Automatic that can be set at the node properties..is there a level below that...
Option 2:An esql to put a break like "wait 10 sec" before the next transaction occurs..
please do give me some directions to go about this situation...
thankyou,
cheers |

It would be helpful to know the particulars. Updating as such is usually pretty straight-forward. Post somecode and error messages (if any).
