Hello,
I have the following products running on AIX 5.2:
WebSphere Application Server 5.x
DB2 8.1 Fixpack 6
MQ 5.3 CSD 4
In order to use DB2 XA data source on WAS to implement two phase commit protocol between DB2 and MQ, should I always use JMS? Or I can use MQ java API? Where can I find some examples for environment setting and java programs? Thanks a lot. |

Hi Claire,
If you can I would use JMS. You are working in a J2EE environment. The use of a datasource is made for that environment so is JMS.
Enjoy

The JMS sample code is in the same place as all of the other sample code.
If you use the search button at the top right of this page, next to the one labeled "FAQ", and enter "sample code", you should find all the other hundreds of responses that specifically detail where to find sample code. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
