Dear all,
In InterChange Server 4.2.2.3, we have some maps and the compilation is failing on the maps. The error says" Import can not be resolved".
Java JDK version is IBM's 1.3.1

I am mporting a jar file with a java class into the Map. I specified in the Map Declaration block, the import statement.
For ex: import xxx.yyy.zzz.*;

I included the jar file in the classpath which contains the java class.
But, still I could not compile the maps. I appreciate if anyone can throw some light.
Thank you,

I don't know much but this is what I found in the DOC:

From the ICS documentation

Quote:
Tip: After you import your custom .jar files into Activity Settings, when your maps and collaboration template compile in System Manager, the custom .jar file will automatically be included into the compile CLASSPATH. To prepare InterChange Server for compilation, make sure that its CLASSPATH includes your custom.jar file. For information on setting up InterChange Server for importing your custom .jar files, see Importing third-party classes to InterChange Server.

Did you import the custom .jar file?

And also

Quote:
Modify the Compiler Classpath preference for compiling the maps and collaboration templates from System Manager:
In System Manager, select Window > Preferences to open the Preference dialog.
Expand System Manager Preferences, and select Compiler.
In the Compiler preference page, click New and select the .jar file to be included in the compile CLASSPATH for maps and collaboration templates.

Thank you master,
There is a file called cwtools.cfg in Crossworlds\bin directory.
In the configuration file, there is a variable called "Classpath" I set the jar file/path for this variable.
It worked. This is suggested by one Mr.Amit in this forum, pl. take a look

Thank you
