Guys this may seem like an OS question but I am trying to debug runmqsc for IBM, and since IBM has decreed that they won't tell us how, since they didn't write the OS (This is zLinux, so they wrote everything else but and built the hardware and the failing application), and won't help us without the debugging output.
How do you debug an application, without source, built with an unknown language, in base SuSe linux? _________________ Patrick Goodhart

Set debugging attribute on the queue manager. (check out the different commands for linux in the admin manuals)
Then give IBM the debug trace.
Enjoy |

On this platform the OS is 64 bit and the MQ is 32 bit. Hence I needed to run gdb32 and not gdb... _________________ Patrick Goodhart
