We need to deploy a new version of a subflow which is used by many "major" flows. What is the best way of doing this?
If we just import the amended subflow to the Workspace and then do a delta deploy at either the execution group or broker level, will all flows that use the subflow pick up the new version?
Thanks,
Chris. |

What version are you using?
I am not sure about the v 2.1 but in V5 you have to rebuild the bar file and deploy it to the execution group. |

Thanks Nizam. Its WMQI 2.1 FP5 on Win2K/AIX so it is different.
Also, a search of previous posts seems to indicate faults in this area so advice here would be appreciated. |

yes.. You just import the subflow,, then check in the subflow, and than do delta deploy of the EGs which ever this subflow is used..
This will definitly work.. It worked for me..

I've seen people forget about the usage of a sub-flow in their message flows. It'd be a good idea to deploy all EG one-by-one. This is to make sure you did not miss anything. _________________ Kiran
