If i set some application (context) specific values in the SOAP headers and send the request to a webservice, Will i get those values back in the SOAP headers in the response message from webservice?
I dont want to store those context values unnecessarily in a DB or MQGET node before making the request and after receiving the webservice response associate those values back to it. It wud be better if the webservice sends back the SOAP headers in the response message. Is there any setting that can be done to instruct the webservice to send back those header values set in its response?
I guess there are attributes like Actors, Roles and mustUnderstand in SOAP headers. But i'm not sure how they will be useful in this scenario. |

Thanks sarat.
I want to know whether in my response i will get back the headers which i set in the SOAP header in my request. I'm not sure whether the webservice provider will extract those headers from the request and in the response will set those back.
In my webservice client side i dont want to save those header values and set it back when i get back my response from the provider. I want to know whether there is a provision or setting in SOAP header through which i can instruct the webservice provider to return those input header values in the response. |

Hi Murali,
The request will go to the webservice as a HTTP Input header. And the response replaces the HTTP Input header as HTTPResponse header. So what's ur intension. 've u tried it?? If u run a sample scenario then u'll b more clear. _________________ With Regards,
