Hello
I have a Queue Manager running on Windows 2000 . I am using the Microsoft Cluster Server on Windows 2000 Advanced server. When I select the Queues through MQ Series Explorer I do not see any queues at all not even the system queues. I have tried runmqsc STCQueueMgr
DIS QLOCAL(STCQueue) and I receive the following message
AMQ8147 MqSeries object (STCQueue) not found.
Is there another way to view clustered queues?

Check to see if you have the clustered environment set up appropriately. Are you able to see both the queue managers/the number of qms in the cluster. If you cannot see the clusters, which means that even though you have set up the clustered environment, but for some reason the queue managers dont seem to be in the cluster, yet. Check to see if your clussdr and clusrcvr channels are running fine.
Cheers.

Is this a cluster for load balancing or for failover. We are in the process of setting up a failover cluster using support pack MC74. By following the directions we have been successful in installing the queue manager for failover.
Also is the cluster administrator in the mqm if not you will not see anything either. We did run into security issues in our first shot at this.

Thanks for help
I reinstalled MQ Series and paid close attention to the help file.
I was able to resolve the problem after I noticed a slight difference
in the environment between nodes on the cluster.
The cluster was used for failover. |
