The client can use dynamic replytoqueues and these will work fine as long as the dynamic replytoqueue doesn't get closed or the connection doesn't get broken. (network failure, unexpected disconnect etc).
My advice would be to assess the criticality of the reply to the business. If it is critical....use a permanent queue, if it isn't that important then dynamic replytoqueues are a workable solution....but if it isn't that important why bother with a reply at all? (just playing devil's advocate )
