Can I run "runmqtrm" MQ trigger Monitor process as a windows service
so that "on failure" of this service, I can send an e-mail notification.
If I can run it as a windows service, how can I proceed?
Please help me.

You can also use something like srvany or Scheduled Tasks.
But there are security considerations when running something in the background as a service - like making sure that the user in question has the necessary authorities. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

You can use srvany to install any Executable as a Windows service, but I am not sure how you would send an Email on failure. One possiblity is in the 'recovery tab', you can select to run a executable on failure, which should send an Email. _________________ -Ratan |

Look at the MA7K Support Pack. Its often used to make a CLIENT Trigger Monitor a Windows Service, but if you read the docs, you see that it can be used to make a Windows server side trigger monitor a service. _________________ Peter Potkay
