In our application we are using WFnotification (that puts a message to a queue with the user ID to whome the message should be sent)to notify a person through E-mail when ever a workitem is created for him.

Along with the workitem a notification workitem is also created.

Is there any way to supress the creation of notification workitem.

Hi,

I don't have the answer to your question, but I'm interested to know what WFnotifications are? I'm having trouble making my workflow send off e-mails to users when there are workitems assigned to them, or when there has been a Notification Workitem generated for a Work item, but you seem to have solved that?

Thanks

If by WFNotifications you mean the ones that are auto generated by Workflow when any activity is not completed in certain time period, then you should be able to suppress that by selecting "None" under Notification tab of activity properties.

Don't know if that's what you want ?

I did not understand what you meant by this.

Notification is also an Item. If you dont want to see it, just Filter it out in your query.
