Hi all
Websphere Mq v5.3.0 is installed on Windows 2000 service pack4
in the following dir
c:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ
But the snap-ins aren't visible in the task bar menu.
Can anyone suggest if there is a way in which i can launch the snap-in's
(MQ Expolrer,First steps)

No i don't see the snap in folders in the Program Files--IBM--WebSphere Mq...
Do i have to re-install MQ |

Start an MMC.
Go to File->Add/Remove Snap-In.
Choose Add.
See if "IBM WebSphere MQ" and "IBM WebSphere MQ Services" are listed.
If not, you did not install the Server component of MQ. These snap-ins are only installed if you install Server, not client. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
