RESPONSIBILITIES: Has a solid working knowledge (4 years of WebSphere MQ administration experience on Unix and NT.
Has strong knowledge of WMQ object management; creating and manage queue managers, queues, page sets, etc.
Has a working knowledge of a WMQ monitoring tool.
ZOS skills, ZOS utilities, JCL, ACF2, CICS, (DB2) a definite plus. Websphere MQ ZOS skills a definite plus.
REQUIREMENTS: College degree in computer science or related field. Minimum of 5 years of large systems experience with Unix (and ZOS). Has good customer service skills. Will provide support to a variety of systems technicians, especially programmers. Must be available for 24 x 7 oncall support in a small team. Ability to multi-task. Precision, detail oriented. Results oriented. Good verbal and written communication skills. |
