I have successfully installed the V5.0 product on W2K environment. I have met all prerequsites. The broker fails to start, because the number of licenses has not been set. MQSIDISPLAYCAPACITY shows 0. I try to set with MQSISETCAPACITY -c 1 and I receive a message indicating that the mqsicap.inf cannot be found. I searched the hard drive for this file and it does not exist. This is a clean install (no previousd version). Do I need to reinstall the product? And if I do, what insures that it would get copied this time. Did I miss a step without realizing it? I do have the 'ANY_5724E11_5.0_001.LIC' file |

<WBIMB Install Root>\config
For me

09/17/2004 03:40 PM <DIR> ..

04/29/2003 06:24 PM 849 ANY_5724E26_5.0_001.LIC
09/17/2004 03:40 PM 3 mqsicap.inf
09/17/2004 03:38 PM 161 nodelock
01/29/2003 05:40 PM 842 product.lic
09/16/2004 03:01 PM 0 wsplugin.conf
6 File(s) 2,704 bytes
2 Dir(s) 8,858,763,264 bytes free |
If you have that directory and all the other files, try creating that file manually and then issue mqsisetcapacity again. |

After reevaluating the directory structure, I realized that the \config directory never got created. Why, I'm not sure. I did a complete uninstall and re-install. I can now mqsisetcapacity with no problems. Onward............ |
