Hi,
I've been messing around with broker(wmqib/wmqi) 5.01 and JMS publish/subscribe applications. I finally got it working, after putting together pieces of information and testing. Has anyone tried this the way I did?
Java MQ JMS pub/sub is compatible with support pac MA0C.
Java MQ JMS pub/sub is not compatible with WMQI 5.01.
(complains about queues missing)
If I run the mqsc script MQJMS_PSQ.mqsc (from the MA0C install I have),
I can make subscriptions work, ie I can view them in the WSAD for wmqi.
To make publications work, I added the queue 'SYSTEM.BROKER.DEFAULT.STREAM', and a message flow simply containing a MQinput reading from this queue, then a Publication node. With this setup, pub/sub works, I can publish, subscribe, receive.
Next I'm trying to understand why this works, I haven't managed to find much information about this, just fragments here and there. I can understand the publish part quite easily(saw that info for broker 2.1), but why simply adding queues makes the subscription work....? I'm not sure what component where sleeping until getting some queues to work on...?
This is what I've done as far as I can see...comments/hints/links anyone? |
