Hello,
I am new to Websphere MQ. Please bear with my ignorance.
We have a situation where a particular topic was being subscribed durably. After testing we realized that lose of data is tolerable. Hence we decided to use non-durable subscription on the same topic. I have the details of the durable subscription that needs to be removed (by running DumpBroker). However when I execute the Unsubscribe, it throws reason code 3078 error. I am testing this in Windows environment. The MQ manager is local. Any help to resolve this is appreciated. |

If your subscriptions are created in JMS, DumpBroker may not work in unsubscribe mode. This was written during a time, prior to JMS, when many pub/sub applications used the AMI. JMS uses a separate repository to maintain the identity of the subscribers.
