I am installing MQ WF on Win 2000 with service pack 4 and DB2 8.1.2.169 with JDK 1.3.1 and MQ Series 5.0

Installation is completed.I run the configuration Utility and set all the Parameters.

It creates FMCDB table in the Database and then it fails giving me this Error:

12/20/2004 3:52:03 PM FMC33126I Binding d:\ibm\mqseries workflow\bnd\fmcdbact.bnd (1/39)
12/20/2004 3:52:03 PM FMC33144E The bind process completed with the following SQL error: SQL0808N The CONNECT statement semantics are not consistent with those of other existing connections. See file d:\ibm\mqseries workflow\cfgs\fmc\log\fmcdbact.msg for details.

The other log file contains:

12/20/2004 3:52:03 PM FMC33902E Error while creating Runtime database FMCDB occurred.
See the log file d:\ibm\mqseries workflow\cfgs\fmc\log\@fmczrt.log for more information.

But when I check DB2 Control Center
FMCDB is being created.

Can any body guide me in a direction.

Thanks & Rgds
Chandra

Chandra,

I'll assume that you're using MQWF v3.5....

So, I think that the first thing you should do, is upgrade all of your SW levels:

MQWF v3.5 with FixPack 02
MQSeries v5.3 with FixPack 07
DB2 v8.1 with FixPack 07a

So far, I don't know if it's or not an official recommendation, but I've found some problems related with DB2 on the following link :

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=795&context=SSVLA5&dc=D600&uid=swg21177176&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en

I hope that solves your issue...
