I am not a windows guy and I am trying to complile and build one of the sample programs in Visual Studio. I am just trying to compile the amqsput sample program. I have got to where I can compile the source but when I build it I get unresolved references.

JG.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _MQDISC
JG.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _MQCLOSE
JG.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _MQPUT
JG.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _MQOPEN
JG.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _MQCONN
Debug/JG.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 5 unresolved externals
Error executing link.exe.

JG.exe - 6 error(s), 0 warning(s)

I know this is an elementary question but can someone point me the right direction.

Go to "Project->Settings" and click on the Link tab.
Add mqm.lib
