Hi,

Whats the difference/significance in the renaming of the major processes say
runmqlsr

to runmqlsr_nd
?

What does the _nd mean?

Are these the new binaries after a fixpack is applied?

The _nd stands for 'non-DCE' (as opposed to _d for DCE). The real name, e.g. runmqlsr, in /usr/mqm/bin (or /opt/mqm/bin on non-AIX), is not a real file, but a symbolic link to the _nd named file. This link is made during installation.
This is done so that the programs do not need to know the details of the installation, i.e. whether the non-DCE or DCE variants of the apps were installed.
