Hi,

When I define the last field in an MRM as Binary with Length Units as 'End of Bitstream', will that read until the end of the MQ Message or will it stop reading the message when it encounters it's first null value or space?

Thanks!

From WMQI Manual.
Quote:

End of Bitstream. All data until end of bit stream is processed. This option is valid only if the element is the last in the message. If you select this value, you do not need to enter a value in Length Count.

That's what I think. But I never used this field, so I am not sure.

If it did, then that would be an error. And, when I used it, it didn't matter what was in the rest of the bit stream.

Cheers

End Of Bitstream will consume all data in the remainder of the bitstream including null's and spaces.
