With the WBIMB Toolkit, I can create topic access control lists (ACLs). For example I can create a number of topic ACLs (below is my best attempt to show how the list appears in the WBIMB toolkit's Topic view in the Broker Administration perspective. Indentation using +- shows the parent-child relationships between each topic ACL):

Topics
+-Sports/Results/Football
+-Sports/Results/Rugby
+-Sports/Results/Baseball

I can also create topic ACLs

Topics
+-Sports/Results
....+-Football
....+-Rugby
....+-Baseball

or

Topics
+-Sports
....+-Results
........+-Football
........+-Rugby
........+-Baseball

My question is what is the difference between these different ways of defining ACLs? What would be the "best practice" way of defining them (what are the advantages of each method)?
