Hello All,

I am wondering if this is the way it is supposed to work and if it is, why is the difference..

When I use MQPMO_SYNCPOINT in java and put a message on a queue using the put method on MQQueue, if I don't use commit/back out the message gets automatically commited when I close the queue.

Now if I use the put method of QManager object, it will not commit until I use the method commit.. why??

Are you sure its not committed when you disconnect the associated MQQueueManager object (rather than just closing the queue)? According to the manuals, if you disconnect with an outstanding syncpoint, it is committed.
