OK edit, i didnt seach the forums properly. Basically got loads os 10054 errors, have checked the network ok then....

I stopped the service and got this service controller error:

The IBM MQSeries service has reported an invalid current state 20.

I killed any remaining amq* processes running and restarted. Everything appears to start OK without error, but a dis ch(*) now produces this error:

2 : dis chs(*)
AMQ8420: Channel Status not found.

Connectivity between hosts appears to be fine and they have confirmed that they;re up. Earlier on the channel was in RETRY until we stopped the service. We're listening, they're listening....

and now I'm stuck...
Anyone got a plan?

Regards
Dave

This is a good message and not to be taken as an error.

I assume here that your channels are triggered. The message above just states that the channel is inactive right now. You will only see the Running status while the sender channel is running (for a receiver). After the configured period of inactivity the channel goes to inactive. It will restart automatically when triggered.

Enjoy
