What is the difference between MQI (MQ interface) and AMI (Application Messaging interface) ?

They expose different functions to the application developer.
One is supported, one is not.
They require different libraries to be available to the runtime of the code.
They have different letters in their acronym.

And IBM is recommending that people move away from AMI. They already dropped support for AMI on M/F. _________________ Kiran
