Is the use of WebSphere MQ required with the Brokers, and if so what release?
WebSphere Business Integration Brokers are supplied with WebSphere MQ v5.3. The Brokers no longer require that message flows be started from WebSphere MQ queues, |
so what are the other ways to start a Msg Flow,
1. a plugin Node
2. ??
and any other way tooo!....

There are several types of Input node that are relatively new with version 5.
Even Version 2 had SCADA input nodes and MQE input nodes, so MQSeries was not a required input.
Version five introduces HTTP Input, RealTime input, TCP/IP Input and a couple of others that I don't recall at this time. Just look through the documentation for the built-in nodes and look at anything that's labeled "Input".
EDIT:: taking my own advice, HTTP and "RealTime" are the only new Input nodes. RealTime is a non-queued JMS interface. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
