Hello All,
I am logging to Workflow as user "USER1". I am able to query for the names of roles of USER1.
USER1 is authorized for the Workitems of USER2.
1) Now, is it POSSIBLE to query for the names of roles of "USER2" logging in as USER1?
Thanks in Advance _________________ CHF

CHF:
If User1 has Staff authorization, he could obtain User2's Person object using the ExecutionService.persistentPerson("USER2") method.
As I recall, you need to have access to that Persons work AND have Staff authorization, but you might want to check to see if you can get the Person object without the Staff Authorization first.
Bottom line, you can definitely get the information, but you might need to play a little bit with the authorizations. _________________ John McDonald

Excellent. Its working. Thanks a lot for the help.
I have added "STAFF DEFINITION" for the USER1, and is working. And one more thing I observed was, USER1 do not need to have the Workitem authorization for USER2.
Thanks again. _________________ CHF |
