Hi,
I get this error when trying to get an bindings connection for my listener-port in WebSphere, in /var/mqm/errors the First Failure Symptom Report have this information:

Have you cleaned up all your shared memory segments and semaphores?
I am not finding anything on this regarding HP/UX but most of what I am finding is related to shared memory.

Thanks, the System administrator did that yesterday, so I guess that should be ok, but I'll look into it again and see if it helps.

Cause of failure found, when the Maximum Heap Size on the server is set to about 1500m or more it's using java_q3p instead of java, when adjusting the Maximum Heap Size to 1400m the error was gone. But still it's a problem to get a bindings connection with a heap size larger than 1500m. Maybe some adjustments of the core parameters of the operating system could fix it or there's a bug in java_q3p?
