Hi
We have a situation where we have an MQ server in the DMZ. At this server we have a number of local queues and we deliver data to these queues from our internal systems. Then a number of customers GET data from these local queues, via own MQ clients.
The concern is security, how do we safeguard in an easy way that a customer can only access one single queue and not the other ones?
Do you understand the security provisions of your MQ system? (I'm hoping very hard that you aren't using z/OS as an Edge queue manager host, so likely you will be working with OAM-based security and setmqaut)
Have you considered enforcing the use of SSL for those client connections, and using an MCAUser on each client channel? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
