I need to assign a dead letter Queue to be used by a Queue Manager. How do I assign a DLQ to a Queue Manager.
I appreciate, anybody's suggestions.
Thanks!

To alter the attributes of the queue manager specified on the runmqsc command, use the MQSC command ALTER QMGR, specifying the attributes and values that you want to change. For example, use the following commands to alter the attributes of jupiter.queue.manager:
runmqsc jupiter.queue.manager
ALTER QMGR DEADQ (ANOTHERDLQ)
The ALTER QMGR command changes the dead-letter queue used.

This is from the system admininstration guide, which I highly recomend you spend some time reading. Look under the documentation tab above.

Also, if you're administering the queue manager through the MQ Explorer console, in the left pane right-click on the Queue Manager, select Properties, select the Extended tab, and select a Dead Letter Queue from the drop-down list.

Thank you PGoodHart and JT for your suggestions,
I will immediately look in the Admin. Documentation Guide. And I would follow your guidelines. Once again, thanks a lot!!
