Hello all,

I am getting this error when I was trying to restart mqwf on AIX. Can anybody tell me what does this means:

Unable to allocate a System Heap area of 231379 bytes.
**Out of memory, aborting**

*** panic: JVMST027: Cannot allocate memory for System Heap area in allocateSystemHeapMemory
stackpointer=2ff1a7b0
JVMXM004: JVM is performing abort shutdown sequence
JVMDG217: Dump Handler is Processing a Signal - Please Wait.
JVMDG305: Java core not written, unable to allocate memory for print buffer.
JVMDG215: Dump Handler has Processed Error Signal 6.

But var/fmc size is not even 50% filled. Because of this error, workflow is not starting. Can anybody tell me, how can I avoid this ?

thank you,

Looks like a java issue. But why would you get a JVM heap size issue while starting workflow? Have you narrowed down the problem to what causes this?
The only reason I can think of why you get this error when starting workflow is if you are using a java authenticaton exit. Otherwise the problem is something else.
To make sure it is not authentication exit, start workflow without auth exit and see if it works.
You should also be able to increase the JVM heap size.

Yes. We are using Authentication Exit and multiple JVM's with a Deployment Manager. The machine was rebooted and din't see the error again. Thanks for your help.

Thanks,
