I do not think there is any WMQ restriction on the number of queues that can be created. Each queue needs a directory and a queue file, so the O/S may restrict these, but the number will be huge.
I think the only restriction in MQ Express is the number of concurrent connections.
The program is licensed to run only on a uniprocessor machine (that is, a machine with no more than a single CPU)
No more than 10 server-to-server queue manager channels may be active concurrently
No more than 10 server-to-client channels may be active concurrently
No extended transactional clients may be connected to this server
Message size may not exceed 4 MB
