Hey everyone-
Just wanted to mention that an article describing a tool I wrote (along with the source code) is in the latest issue (September 2002) of MQUpdate from Xephon. It is called Heartbeat, and it's a monitoring tool designed specifically for MQSeries clusters. An email based reporting system will alert you to any problems with dynamically created cluster objects/channels. And, if you aren't already a subscriber, you can get a special 5% off discount by being a user of mqseries.net. Just click the link below to subscribe:

As always, feedback would be greatly appreciated! _________________ Brandon Duncan

Can I send an article for publishing in MQUpdate? What are the rules? How do the articles get screened? |

Yes you can! If you look at Xephon website you will find instructions on sending the articles. Goto FAQ Section and then click on Share your expertise - and get paid for it!
After the editor receives the article they will "screen" it and then take a decision on publishing the article. You will be notified (by email) about their decision. _________________ Kiran

It's worth for that price. You will find lots of articles from IBM guys and they are simply outstanding. Also, you get access to all previous subscriptions (in PDF format). _________________ Kiran
